A different kind of canyon

Monday 24th October. By Jodie.

We finish the Paria hike at Lee’s Ferry, which is only about 100 kms from the Grand Canyon’s North Rim. So it’s a no brainer, we are going there next.

We get our long awaited first glimpse of the Grand Canyon from the undoubtedly far less busy North Rim. We’ve been in a few canyons in recent weeks. Nothing is comparable to the GC.

Millions before us have been impressed and so are we.

Our first blog, five star tent, was a six month project in parallel with a journey on foot and by kayak from Alaska to Patagonia. Now back to real life, Jodie is inspired to start blogging again, just a little bit, with photo theme hop.
